Course Description

This course follows the Upper Quadrant Rehabilitation Part 1. A dynamic hands-on manual course designed for the therapist who wants to learn new manual skills to treat the upper quadrant as a unit. It will include assessment of the quadrant through arthrological, myological, fascial, visceral and neural components. A treatment protocol will be developed and manual correction for the joint, muscle, fascia, neural or visceral dysfunction will be implemented. Techniques will be demonstrated and in partners the manual skills will be practiced.

Course Objectives

The participant will be able to:

Learn manual techniques for  treatment of the pathology of the upper quadrant

Assess for the dysfunctional component of the upper quadrant (arthrological, neurological, visceral, fascial or neural)

Advance their knowledge of anatomy of the upper quadrant

Practice manual techniques to regain accessory movements, stretch shortened muscle tissue, release fascia, correct the mobility of the viscera and treat neuromeningeal restrictions

Determine manual skills for carpal tunnel, repetitive strain, lateral epicondylitis, adhesive capsulitis, fixed first rib, whiplash and more.

COST:

Early bird (by Oct 20)

$450.00 plus GST $22.50 = $472.50

After Oct 20            

$475.00 plus GST $23.75 = $498.75 Tuition is refundable up until 30 days prior to the class. A $50.00 processing fee applies for cancellations.
